Our client is a well-established investment organisation with a diversified portfolio across multiple sectors. The Investment Associate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, supporting transaction execution, and monitoring portfolio performance. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will contribute to investment decision-making while building strong relationships with stakeholders, advisors, and portfolio companies. This position offers exposure to a variety of transactions and investment strategies, providing an excellent platform for professional growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis. Perform market, industry, and competitor research. Assist with investment due diligence processes. Prepare investment committee papers and recommendation reports. Support the execution of acquisitions, disposals, and other strategic transactions. Monitor and report on portfolio company performance. Analyse financial statements and business plans to assess investment viability. Engage with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle. Assist with portfolio optimisation and value-creation initiatives. Maintain accurate investment records, reports, and documentation. Support fund reporting and investor communication requirements where applicable. Identify risks and opportunities within existing and prospective investments. Job Experience and Skills Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment Management, or a related field. Honours degree, CFA progression, CA(SA), or similar professional qualification advantageous. 2 to 5 years' experience within private equity, corporate finance, investment banking, asset management, transaction advisory, or a related investment environment. Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities. Experience conducting financial and commercial due diligence. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills. Strong report-writing and presentation abilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
