Why This Role Stands Out: Work with modern engineering patterns and Microsoft technologies Play a senior role in architecture, design, and solution delivery Opportunity to mentor others and influence engineering direction Strong learning culture with professional development support Key Responsibilities: Lead and guide developers across projects and technical tasks Contribute to architectural decisions and system design Build scalable, reliable front‑end and back‑end applications Develop and integrate APIs and system components Optimise performance, ensure security, and handle edge‑cases Deploy and maintain applications across multiple environments Promote clean code and engineering best practices Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 7+ years' software development experience Strong experience in: Front‑End: Razor, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, UI libraries (e.g., Syncfusion and Telerik), and Tailwind Back‑End: ASP.NET Core, C#, LINQ, APIs, ORMs, and SOLID principles Architecture: Clean Architecture, Microservices, CQRS, Event‑driven, and Modular/Monolithic patterns Other: Docker, IIS, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and SQL Experience in architectural decision‑making Ability to mentor team members Personal Attributes: Passionate about engineering and problem‑solving Highly meticulous with strong attention to performance and maintainability Strong communicator and team collaborator Solution‑focused and able to tackle complex challenges Growth‑oriented with a continuous learning mindset Additional Requirements: Must be able to work on‑site, 5 days per week Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Sandton Apply now!
