Experienced Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator required for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Paulshof, Johannesburg . The role will support the Finance Department with SAP processing, debtors, creditors, journals, VAT201, reconciliations, cashflow reporting, foreign currency revaluations and month-end duties . SAP ERP experience is essential. Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator – SAP 3-Month Contract | Paulshof, Johannesburg | R28,000 per month An established organisation based in Paulshof, Johannesburg requires an experienced Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator to support the Finance Department on a 3-month fixed-term contract . This role is suited to a hands-on finance professional with solid SAP ERP experience and practical exposure to debtors, creditors, journals, reconciliations, VAT, cashflow reporting and month-end finance activities . Key Responsibilities Process debtor receipts and creditor payments in SAP Capture month-end journal entries Complete balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations Review and sign off creditor reconciliations Prepare and submit monthly VAT201 returns to SARS Prepare bi-weekly cashflow information for the Finance Manager Capture daily foreign exchange rates Complete foreign bank, debtor and creditor revaluations Prepare import landed-cost calculations Update import stock purchase orders Process fixed-asset depreciation information Generate scrap sales invoices Release sales orders Download and distribute debtor statements Prepare fixed-expense reports Assist with external audit queries and supporting documentation Minimum Requirements Relevant Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification advantageous Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts or similar finance role Strong hands-on SAP ERP experience Experience with debtors and creditors Experience processing journals and reconciliations Knowledge of VAT201 submissions Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Exposure to foreign currency transactions and revaluations advantageous Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Able to meet month-end and reporting deadlines Contract Details Contract: 3 months Salary: R28,000 per month Location: Paulshof, Johannesburg Working arrangement: Fully office-based Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 Friday: 08:00 – 15:30 Reporting to: Finance Manager Candidates must be available to commit to the full 3-month contract .
