An established and growing organisation based in Sandton is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of the full accounting function. Minimum Requirements Completed Articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent) 5+ years post-articles accounting experience Completed BCom Accounting Degree or Accounting Diploma Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation Advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of monthly management accounts Month-end and year-end reporting processes General ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews Preparation of annual financial statements VAT, tax, and statutory compliance submissions Cash flow management and forecasting Budgeting and financial analysis Support external audits and liaise with auditors Assist with process improvements and financial controls Mentor and support junior finance team members Skills & Competencies High attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet tight deadlines Results-driven and proactive approach Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong business and commercial acumen What's On Offer Opportunity to join a reputable organisation Exposure to a dynamic and professional finance environment Career growth and development opportunities Competitive remuneration package If you meet the above requirements and are looking for your next challenge in a stable and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you.
