About this role
An established international company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team. The role will oversee procurement and supply chain operations across Southern Africa, with a strong focus on inventory optimisation, MRP and demand planning. Minimum requirements: Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Procurement 3–4 years’ people management experience Strong inventory planning and MRP experience Experience managing 3,000+ SKUs Strong demand planning, S&OP and order book management experience Knowledge of ITR, fill rates, stock-outs and obsolete stock Experience with ERP/MRP systems Strong procurement, negotiation and supplier management skills Imports/exports and freight experience advantageous Automotive, industrial or technical parts experience highly advantageous Southern Africa/Africa exposure advantageous This is not a pure Buyer/Sourcing position. Strong inventory planning, MRP, procurement and people management experience is essential.
