Our client, a market-leading South African technology company delivering cloud-based CRM and practice management software designed specifically for financial advisors, is looking for an experienced Product Owner/ Delivery Lead . In this role, the ideal candidate will take ownership of a key product feature from concept through to production and ongoing support, combining product ownership, business analysis, project coordination, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance. You will work closely with developers, business stakeholders, clients, and end users to define requirements, guide development, manage delivery, coordinate testing, and ensure successful release outcomes. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Own the delivery of a product feature from concept to production. Gather and analyse business and user requirements. Create specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation. Manage and prioritise the product backlog. Coordinate development activities, sprint planning, and release preparation. Lead and support a small development team. Conduct QA testing and provide release sign-off. Facilitate user testing, feedback sessions, and continuous improvements. Support the feature post-release and manage incidents, defects, and enhancement requests. Communicate project progress, risks, and delivery updates to stakeholders. Essential Skills, Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification and experience. Minimum 5 years' experience within Insurance or Financial Services . Minimum 3 years' experience in a Product Owner, Project Lead, Delivery Lead, Team Lead, Business Analyst, or similar role . Strong experience in product delivery, business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management. Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate software development projects. Experience writing clear requirements, specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Hands-on experience with QA testing and release readiness assessments. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
