Background: Excellent career opportunity for a Laser Operator within a leading manufacturing company Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of laser machine operations and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately Good understanding of quality standards and production procedures Responsibilities: Prepare and verify the correct material for production requirements Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to specifications Load and manage machine programs accurately Interpret technical drawings and job cards to ensure precise cutting of components Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient, accurate, and error-free operation Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts are burr-free, dimensionally correct, and meet quality standards Ensure correct quantities are produced and recorded Pack completed components in accordance with the “One Job – One Pallet” procedure Complete production and quality control documentation accurately Ensure materials are loaded and handled correctly to avoid damage or production delays Maintain production targets and minimise material wastage Report machine faults, defects, or production concerns to the relevant Supervisor TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
