ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – ENVIRONMENTAL LAW Location: Parkwood Salary: Dependent on your experience Our client, a well-established specialist law firm, is looking for an Associate Attorney with solid environmental law experience to join their team. The successful candidate will work within a specialist practice focusing on environmental, regulatory and sustainability-related legal matters , with exposure to a range of complex matters across various sectors. Minimum Requirements LLB degree Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa Solid environmental law experience Post-admission experience within environmental law or a closely related practice Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills Good understanding of South African environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team LLM in Environmental Law or a related field would be advantageous Valid driver's licence and own vehicle advantageous The successful candidate will ideally have experience in: Environmental law and regulatory matters Environmental compliance and advisory work Environmental authorisations and related processes Environmental litigation and dispute resolution Regulatory and legislative matters Mining, energy, development or other environmentally regulated sectors This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental law specialist looking to further develop their career within a highly specialised legal environment.
