Our client in the mine industry in North West is looking for a Geologist to join them Salary depending on qualifications and experience Minimum requirements: BSc Geology Honors Degree Minimum 3 years experience required Registered as a professional Scientist or Candidate Scientist (SACNASP) would be advantageous Strong experience in grade control and structural geology Knowledge of geological modelling software e.g. Datamine and Deswick Experience with geological database systems and QA / QC procedures Conduct and manage underground geological mapping and interpretation Perform boreholes lithological and structural loggings as per logging standard for input into the geological borehole Ensure timeous capturing of geological mappings for incorporation into the geological models Establish the limits of reef blocks in 3D by identifying and locating significant faults and intrusions Ensure structural model is continuously updated as new geological data is gathered Consultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
