In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key role in improving the reliability, quality, and consistency of software products across multiple development teams. Based in Pretoria, this permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys combining automated testing, manual testing, and continuous process improvement. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Design, create, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Playwright. Execute manual, functional, regression, smoke, and release testing activities. Investigate reported issues, recreate defects, and provide detailed feedback to development teams. Work closely with developers, Product Owners, stakeholders, and clients to ensure software meets business requirements. Improve QA processes, testing standards, test documentation, and overall quality practices. Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to streamline workflows and improve testing efficiency. Support release readiness activities and quality sign-off processes. Document and track defects using Azure DevOps. Essential Skills, Qualifications, & Experience: Experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering. Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automated browser testing tools. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices. Experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks and test cases. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. SQL knowledge and experience within financial services, insurance, CRM, or business software environments will be advantageous. What's In It For You?
