About this role
Responsible for improving the quality, reliability, and consistency of software delivered across development teams. The role focuses primarily on automated testing using Playwright, while also supporting manual testing, issue investigation, test planning, and client support when required. The Quality Engineer will enhance testing standards, processes, documentation, and quality controls, leveraging automation and AI-assisted tools to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve release confidence. Key Responsibilities: Test completed development work against defined requirements and acceptance criteria Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests using Playwright, with a focus on regression, smoke, functional, and release testing.Perform manual and exploratory testing where required. Drive improvements to QA standards, testing processes, test documentation, and test coverage. Establish consistent testing practices and automation standards across teams. Leverage Playwright and AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate defect analysis. Assist with release readiness assessments, quality reporting, and QA sign-off processes. Strengthen QA capability by promoting structured, repeatable, and scalable testing practices. Job Experience and skill required 3 - 5 years experience in a Software Testing, QA or Quality Engineering Strong understanding of standard testing processes, testing methodologies and QA best practices Practical experience with playwright or similar automated browser testing tools, Azure DevOps for test management and defect documentation Experience with the following: Playwright, Manual testing, test case design, Regression testing, Smoke Testing, Functional testing, release testing, QA process improvement Apply now!
