Port Elizabeth area, Eastern Cape province – South Africa: Our client is looking for a Senior Packhouse Manager to join the team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Production or Agriculture (advantageous) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a packhouse / production / operations role (citrus). Proven experience managing teams Strong understanding of food safety, cold chain management, and HACCP principles Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills Computer literate (Excel and Outlook) Valid driver’s license KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Planning and organising staff Monitoring and improving productivity Quality Management. Understanding of local and internal quality standards Maintain good food, as well as, and health and safety standards in the facility Staff management Continuous improvement Building credible relationships internal and external to the company Willing to work irregular hours ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
