MASA Outsourcing, a leading Temporary Employment Services (TES) powerhouse, is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Consultant to join our Pretoria Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and securing new business through telesales, cold calling, networking, referrals, canvassing, and face-to-face business development. The role will focus on growing the client base, building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships, understanding clients’ staffing requirements, and presenting tailored workforce solutions to support their operational needs, including seasonal peaks and workforce fluctuations. Key Responsibilities Business Development & New Business Identify and target prospective clients within the allocated territory. Generate new business through telesales, cold calling, canvassing, networking, referrals, and face-to-face sales. Research prospective clients and identify key decision-makers. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects. Arrange and conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits. Develop a thorough understanding of prospective clients' operations, workforce requirements, and business challenges. Present tailored staffing and workforce solutions aligned with client requirements. Prepare proposals, quotations, and business solutions. Follow up consistently on proposals, leads, and opportunities. Negotiate commercial terms within company-approved parameters. Convert prospects into signed clients and successfully onboard new accounts. Remain informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity. Key Account Management Act as the primary point of contact for allocated clients. Build and maintain strong, professional, long-term client relationships. Conduct regular client visits to maintain relationships and identify new or changing staffing requirements. Ensure client sites are managed in accordance with service level agreements, company procedures, and legislative requirements. Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and provide additional workforce solutions. Address and resolve client queries and concerns efficiently and professionally. Support the smooth onboarding and implementation of new client accounts. Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate (Grade 12). Valid driver's licence. Own reliable vehicle. Minimum 3 years' proven experience in sales, business development, or key account management. Proven track record of generating leads and converting prospects into sustainable business relationships. Strong cold-calling, prospecting, networking, and business development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels. Target-driven, proactive, resilient, and results-oriented approach. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Advantageous Previous experience within the Temporary Employment Services (TES), recruitment, staffing, or outsourcing industry. Existing business network or client base within the allocated territory. Experience selling workforce solutions to medium-to-large organisations.
