Senior Accountant Claremont Cape town An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established multinational nutritional company based in Cape Town. We’re looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) eager to grow within a dynamic accounting environment, who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. What We’re Looking For: Strong passion and interest in accounting Excellent work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile Strong analytical ability with a business-focused mindset Advanced Excel proficiency Detail-oriented and highly accurate Team player who can also plan, coordinate, and lead to meet strict deadlines Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records Sound understanding of procurement processes (from PO to payment) – an advantage Knowledge of internal controls within a multinational subsidiary environment Key Responsibilities: Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including CAPEX planning and depreciation Perform Work in Progress (WiP) calculations Handle IFRS 16 reporting and reconciliations Conduct payroll reconciliations and related provisions Oversee inventory movement and Cost of Sales (CoS) analysis Manage VAT and Income Tax compliance Ensure adherence to statutory requirements Prepare and review management accounts and support month-end processes What’s in It for You: Join a global organisation that values accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
