An established organisation based in Melrose is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes while working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the overall finance function. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial accounting functions Prepare monthly financial reports and management information Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes Prepare and submit relevant tax and eFiling requirements Maintain and manage the fixed asset register Prepare journals, accruals and financial adjustments Ensure accurate financial records and supporting documentation Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field CIMA or SAIPA qualification/experience advantageous Approximately 3–5 years’ relevant experience Strong financial accounting and reporting knowledge If you’re a skilled Financial Accountant looking for a role that offers broad accounting exposure, senior stakeholder interaction and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, this could be your next career move.
