Well-established company which specializes in Maritime electronics is seeking to employ a Marine Electronics Technician. This position would suit a candidate who would like to do their internship as a Maritime Electronics Technician or a candidate with experience in Maritime Electronics. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Light Current, Electronics etc Willing to travel to vessels in harbours around South Africa Good communication skills This position will suit a extrovert more than introvert Not afraid of heights Computer literate Valid Drivers Licence Duties will include but not limited to: Travelling to vessels in harbours around South Africa Fit and install Marine Radio and Navigation systems Inspect and test electronic equipment Working in the dry docks, under ships, inside ships and yachts In return a market related salary as well as other benefits are on offer.
