You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and development teams to ensure systems remain secure, scalable, and reliable. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, strengthening security controls, and implementing practical improvements that have a direct business impact. Key Responsibilities: Manage and troubleshoot firewall environments, including VPNs, routing, segmentation, NAT, and security services Administer switching environments and support network troubleshooting activities Implement and maintain network segmentation and security controls Support privileged access management and administrative access controls Manage and improve endpoint detection and response capabilities Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and reporting Support secrets management, credential security, and certificate management Assist with container and Kubernetes security initiatives Investigate and remediate infrastructure and security-related incidents Support disaster recovery, backup, and resilience testing initiatives Maintain network diagrams, firewall documentation, and security procedures Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and application teams to ensure security best practices are embedded into new solutions Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field Experience: Proven experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Support, or Security Engineering roles Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking and cybersecurity environments Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations advantageous Technical Skills: FortiGate / FortiOS HP and Sophos Switching Technologies TCP/IP Networking VLANs, Routing, and Switching VPNs, NAT, DNS, and DHCP Network Troubleshooting PAM (Privileged Access Management) EDR/XDR Security Platforms Vulnerability Management Secrets and Certificate Management Network Segmentation and Security Hardening Zero Trust Security Principles Advantageous: Nutanix AHV and Prism Central Nutanix Flow Hyper-V and Infrastructure Migrations Containers and Kubernetes Security Container Registries, RBAC, Image Scanning, and Runtime Security Additional Requirements: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Excellent documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong security mindset with attention to detail Passion for continuous improvement and emerging security technologies Apply now!
