An established organisation is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in finance and is ready to expand their experience into cost accounting, financial analysis and reporting. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day cost accounting functions Support the preparation and analysis of cost information Assist with Debtors and Creditors processing Process and reconcile financial transactions Assist with account and supplier reconciliations Analyse financial information and investigate variances Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Prepare Excel-based reports and financial schedules Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and projects Assist with general finance administration as required Qualifications & Skills: 2–4 years’ relevant finance/accounting experience Debtors experience essential Creditors experience essential Strong Excel skills non-negotiable Cost accounting or financial analysis exposure advantageous Logistics industry experience advantageous If you’re ready to build your accounting career and gain valuable exposure to cost accounting, Debtors, Creditors and financial analysis, this could be the opportunity for you.
