Tzaneen area, Limpopo province – South Africa: The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of this Avocado & Macadamia Nut Farm. If you are self-motivated, dynamic with the necessary experience and expertise, this position could be for you. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous At least 2 years’ experience in avocado/ macadamia farming Ability to work with their hands and willing to learn Computer literate Energetic, hardworking, and self-driven individual Ability to work with and motivate a team Maintenance orientated Valid driver’s license DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Manage day to day farming operations Work with the supervisors ensuring the tasks are executed well Manage and monitor irrigation, fertiliser and chemical applications on the farm Keep staff motivated, work well with people from all backgrounds Planning and ordering of consumables on time Admin and paperwork need to be detailed and accurate for certification and audits.
