PROJECT SAFETY OFFICER – NORTHAM 🚧 WE’RE HIRING | PROJECT SAFETY OFFICER 📍 Northam, Limpopo 📅 Project-Based Contract | 12–18 Months 🚀 Start Date: Immediate to 1 Month 🏗️ Site-Based Position Pro Personnel Employment Agency is seeking an experienced Project Safety Officer for an upcoming site-based project in Northam . We are looking for a highly experienced safety professional with extensive exposure to mining, construction and EPCM project environments , who can actively support the execution of construction activities with a strong focus on achieving Zero Harm . Minimum Requirements ✅ SAMTRAC Occupational Health and Safety Management Qualification or equivalent ✅ Occupational Health & Safety / Construction Health & Safety programme ( NQF Level 3–5 ) ✅ More than 10 years’ relevant industry experience , preferably with similar EPCM companies ✅ In-depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations, OHS Act and Construction Regulations ✅ Experience/ability to be appointed in terms of 2.17.1 of the MHSA ✅ Excellent communication and people skills ✅ Must be in good health and able to work actively on site Advantageous: ⭐ SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety (CHS) Practitioner ⭐ Previous experience at Valterra Platinum and/or Sibanye-Stillwater ⭐ Previous Concentrator and/or Smelter project experience 🔹 Key Focus The successful candidate will support and monitor site construction activities to ensure they are executed safely and in accordance with applicable legislation, project requirements and the objective of Zero Harm .
