FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Senior) – INDUSTRIAL DOORS & AUTOMATION Location: Brackenfell, Cape Town, Western Cape Salary: R11 000 – R19 000 per month – Depending on Experience We are recruiting an experienced and technically skilled Senior Field Service Technician for a well-established company specialising in industrial doors and loading dock equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installations, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site assessments to ensure installation readiness. Install industrial doors and loading dock equipment accurately and efficiently. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Maintain and service industrial doors and loading dock equipment. Identify equipment faults and recommend appropriate repairs. Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards. Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians where required. Requirements: Matric and relevant technical training or qualification advantageous. Proven experience in technical installations, maintenance and repairs. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities. Experience working with industrial doors, loading dock equipment or similar mechanical systems highly advantageous. Ability to work independently and resolve technical problems. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's licence Willingness to travel to customer sites.
