About this role
We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong electrical engineering background to join our team in Ireland Key requirement British or EU passport Proven experience in project management within an electrical engineering, electrical contracting, construction or M&E environment Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, drawings, specifications and technical requirements Previous experience managing projects, contractors, suppliers and site teams Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling and cost control Relevant electrical engineering qualifications Project management qualifications such as PMP, Prince2 or equivalent will be advantageous Key responsibility Manage electrical projects from initial planning through to completion and handover Coordinate project activities, schedules, resources, subcontractors, suppliers and clients Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and project documentation Monitor project progress, costs, quality and delivery against agreed targets Work closely with engineers, site teams, contractors and other project stakeholders Review electrical drawings, specifications, technical documentation and project requirements Identify and manage project risks, issues and changes Prepare project reports, progress updates and other documentation as requied
