A rare opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager to take real ownership in a growing, entrepreneurial business where finance, stock and people administration sit at the heart of decision-making. This role offers direct exposure to the Managing Director, and genuine scope to shape systems, controls and reporting as the business expands across multiple sales channels. It is well suited to a hands-on finance leader who enjoys getting into the detail, improving how things work, and bringing structure to a fast-moving environment with meaningful stock exposure, import costing and e-commerce complexity. BCom Accounting or equivalent; CA(SA), CIMA or SAIPA (Professional Accountant) is a strong advantage 7+ years’ finance experience, including at least 3 years managing people Hands-on inventory accounting experience in importing, distribution or e-commerce, including landed costing, stock valuation and cost of sales Experience with Cin7 Core or a similar inventory system, plus a cloud accounting package ideally Xero Proven month-end close and management accounts experience, with strong balance sheet reconciliations and reporting Sound knowledge of SA VAT, payroll and statutory submissions, including EMP201, EMP501, IRP5s, UIF and COIDA Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of foreign currency payments, import costing and HR administration under SA labour law As Specialist Recruiters for professionals in your industry, we are well geared to represent your best career interests.
