Trade Tested Boilermaker – Temporary Assignment |Parow, Cape Town Are you a skilled and experienced Trade Tested Boilermaker looking for an immediate temporary opportunity in Cape Town? A well-established company is seeking a qualified and safety-conscious Boilermaker to join their team on a temporary assignment. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication, welding and metalwork experience, be able to read technical drawings, and work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble and install metal structures and components Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Perform maintenance, repairs and modifications on equipment and structures Conduct inspection and fault-finding on components and machinery Ensure all work is completed according to quality and safety standards Operate relevant tools, machinery and equipment safely Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and maintenance teams Maintain a clean and safe working environment Adhere to all company, health, safety and environmental regulations Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Trade Test Certificate (Boilermaker) essential Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, mining or industrial environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficient in fabrication, welding and steelwork Knowledge of health and safety regulations Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Own transport will be advantageous Must be immediately available for a temporary assignment Skills: Metal Fabrication Welding & Cutting Technical Drawing Interpretation Equipment Maintenance & Repair Fault Finding & Problem Solving Occupational Health & Safety Compliance Time Management Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
