A reputable organisation based in Pretoria East is seeking a dedicated Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate supplier accounts and ensuring timely payments. The successful candidate will take ownership of the accounts payable function, ensuring supplier accounts remain up to date, reconciliations are completed accurately, and queries are resolved professionally and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately and timeously. Reconcile supplier statements to the general ledger. Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. Prepare payment batches and ensure suppliers are paid on time. Manage supplier queries and maintain strong supplier relationships. Perform creditor reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items. Ensure all transactions are correctly authorised and supported by relevant documentation. Maintain accurate creditor records and filing systems. Assist with month-end creditor procedures and reporting. Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting duties. Job Experience and Skills Required: Previous experience as a Creditors Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk. Solid understanding of the full creditors cycle. Strong reconciliation and numerical skills. Experience working with accounting or ERP systems. Good Microsoft Excel skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage high transaction volumes. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Apply now!
