Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting, Finance or a related field. Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience. Proven experience preparing monthly management reports. Good understanding of general ledger reconciliations and month-end processes. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior finance staff will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Prepare and oversee monthly management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Perform and review VAT reconciliations, ensuring compliance and accurate submissions. Manage general ledger reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies. Oversee month-end accounting processes and ensure financial records are maintained accurately. Monitor financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes. Lead, guide and support two junior accountants, reviewing their work and providing ongoing guidance. Ensure the finance team meets reporting deadlines and maintains a high standard of accuracy. Key Skills and Competencies Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial acumen. Excellent management reporting and analytical capabilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good organisational and time-management abilities. Confident leadership and people-management skills. Ability to take ownership, work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
