Our client, a well-established and highly respected financial services company, is looking to appoint a Financial Planning Partner Assistant to provide administrative, operational and client support to a Financial Planning Partner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-focused environment, has previous experience within the financial services industry and takes pride in delivering exceptional service while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Financial Planning Partner. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a professional and efficient client experience. Prepare documentation and information required for client meetings and financial planning engagements. Process new business applications, policy amendments and client transactions. Manage client onboarding, including FICA and AML documentation. Liaise with product providers regarding new business, transfers, underwriting requirements and commission queries. Monitor applications through to completion and ensure all outstanding requirements are followed up. Maintain accurate client records and documentation on the CRM system. Prepare reports and documentation for client review meetings. Coordinate diaries, appointments and client communications. Assist with the planning and administration of client events and practice-related activities. Provide general office administration and support where required. Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification or financial services-related studies. Previous experience (2–3 years preferred) within the financial services industry. Experience supporting a Financial Planner, Wealth Manager or Financial Adviser will be highly advantageous. Sound understanding of financial products and financial planning administration. Knowledge of FAIS and FICA requirements. Experience processing new business and servicing existing clients. Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work accurately under pressure while managing multiple priorities. A professional, client-centric approach with excellent communication skills. Experience working on Xplan will be a distinct advantage.
