Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Centralised Proposition & Operations Assistant to provide administrative and client service support within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is responsible for supporting financial planners, managing client documentation, processing financial service requests, and ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative and client service support to financial planners Act as the first point of contact for client and adviser queries via phone, email, and internal systems Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial planners, and product providers Prepare client portfolios, financial planning packs, meeting documentation, and review documentation Identify opportunities within client portfolios for financial planners Process new business applications, policy amendments, and service requests accurately and within agreed turnaround times Manage and follow up on applications and instructions submitted to product providers Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, demographics, financial information, and supporting documentation on CRM systems Track and follow up on outstanding requirements, including underwriting, medicals, and investment information Liaise with insurers, investment platforms, and other product providers to obtain updates and required information Ensure all documentation and client interactions comply with regulatory and internal requirements Manage workloads effectively to meet service level agreements (SLAs) Escalate complex or high-risk matters where necessary Contribute to continuous process improvements and maintain exceptional client service standards REQUIREMENTS : Matric (Grade 12) is essential 2–3 years' experience within the financial services industry is preferred Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous Experience working with financial products, including investments, insurance, and retirement products, is advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience working with CRM systems Experience using Xplan, Astute, and NAV is advantageous Strong administrative, organisational, and data management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with strong accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within strict SLAs Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills Professional, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure Knowledge of FAIS, AML, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team *ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
