Key Responsibilities Financial Operations Process daily supplier and creditor payments. Create and maintain banking beneficiaries. Load daily and ad hoc payments across allocated companies. Perform bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist with treasury administration and cash management. Accounting & Financial Reporting Process monthly accounting transactions for allocated entities. Prepare monthly management accounts. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules. Prepare VAT calculations and reconciliations. Assist with billing processes and debtor statements. Prepare information for month-end reporting. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements. Support the annual external audit process by preparing schedules and resolving audit queries. Tax & Regulatory Compliance Prepare and submit VAT returns. Prepare provisional tax calculations. Manage SARS eFiling administration. Resolve SARS queries, disputes and registrations. Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation. Cash Flow & Treasury Support Assist with cash flow management. Monitor intercompany funding requirements. Assist with banking administration. Financial Planning & Business Support Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Support financial modelling and analysis. Assist with financial reports for management. Support new business initiatives and finance projects. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field. Experience 3–5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting or post articles Experience preparing management accounts. Experience with VAT and provisional tax. Experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage Evolution). Salary The proposed salary for the role is R20k - R32k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
