Job Title and Overview: The Senior Technology Procurement Specialist serves as an expert commercial advisor and strategic sourcing lead for major enterprise technology implementations across the company. Operating at the intersection of business, IT, and central procurement, this role converts complex operational requirements into market-ready RFPs, leads high-value 3rd-party vendor negotiations, and secures optimal commercial terms. It requires an executive-level technology background combined with a hands-on approach to deal execution Key Responsibilities: Core Client Requirements: Collaborate with business unit leadership (HR, Finance, IT) to capture requirements for major enterprise software and system replacements Draft tailored RFPs, RFIs, and go-to-market documentation to solicit competitive 3rd-party vendor proposals Industry-Standard and Operational Responsibilities: Establish vendor risk management protocols and align commercial contracts with corporate compliance, data governance, and cybersecurity standards Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI analyses on proposed technology investments Required Qualifications and Experience: Proven background as a Chief Information Officer (CIO), Technology Director, or Senior Enterprise Sourcing Lead Extensive track record procuring and implementing enterprise-grade systems (e.g., ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, core HR Transformation systems, insurance platforms) Master-level expertise in software licensing models, contract law, and RFP formulation Deep experience in corporate procurement structures and vendor governance frameworks Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: Industry experience within Financial Services, Insurance (Life/Short-Term), or Banking Professional certifications in procurement or technology management (e.g., CIPS, CGEIT) Key Competencies and Soft Skills: Executive Persuasion and Negotiation: Ability to command authority with global tech vendors while maintaining cost discipline Hands-on Execution: Willingness to move from broad strategy into detailed RFP drafting and contract review Stakeholder Alignment: Strong communication skills to manage competing priorities between technical teams, business heads, and Central Procurement
