Take ownership of a busy conveyancing portfolio, manage complex transactions, and lead a small support team. A respected legal practice in the property sector is looking for an admitted Conveyancer who thrives on responsibility, accuracy, and delivering excellent client service. Duties / Key Responsibilities Manage the full conveyancing process, including property transfers, sectional title transactions, mortgage bond registrations, and cancellations. Draft, review, and ensure accuracy of all conveyancing documentation in line with legal requirements. Handle Deeds Office processes, including lodgement, follow-ups, and registrations. Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining compliance, quality, and turnaround times. Use conveyancing systems and banking platforms effectively to track and manage transactions. Maintain strong client relationships through clear advice, communication, and professional service. Oversee financial aspects of transactions, including trust-related processes, final accounts, payments, and disbursements. Support and guide a small conveyancing team, including mentoring junior staff and coordinating workflow. Requirements Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer - Newly Admitted or Associate Level with solid conveyancing experience. Strong practical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures. Proven ability to manage transactions independently from start to finish. Experience with Deeds Office processes and banking requirements. Comfortable managing a busy portfolio with tight deadlines. Fully bilingual, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport required. Education LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification. Admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer. Soft Skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Professional, approachable, and client-focused. Able to work independently while leading and supporting a team. Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities. Proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership. Salary The proposed salary for the role is R25k - R40k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
