Payroll Tax Administrator Qualification Matric / Senior Certificate Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7) Advanced Excel capability (including lookup functions, nested IF statements, pivot tables, data reconciliation). Requirements Valid drivers license Proven operational payroll and/or tax experience in multi-jurisdiction or cross-border environments. Direct ownership of payroll tax submissions Strong understanding of compliance risk within international payroll structures. Strong analytical and investigative mindset Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to operate effectively under strict global deadlines across time zones. Clear and professional written communication skills (client-facing exposure preferred) Experience within an Employer of Record (EOR), global payroll provider, or multinational organization. Exposure to payroll/ tax complexities such as: Cross-border tax implications Intercompany transactions Tax Authority Communications Multi-country reconciliations Experience managing high-volume or high-growth environments. Duties Manage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing within country-specific frameworks Prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings across relevant countries Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies Ensure the timely submission and payment of taxes and other related contributions to the country -specific Authorities Conduct research through monitoring, and implement legislative updates across assigned jurisdictions Liaise with local in-country stakeholders for query resolution Support internal audits and compliance review to strengthen internal controls and mitigate global payroll tax risk Any additional related ad-hoc tasks
