Mpongwe Area, Copperbelt Province – Zambia: This commercial farming enterprise is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join the team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Trade tested diesel mechanic or equivalent qualification At least 5 years of mechanical experience on a large-scale commercial operation Thorough knowledge of Agricultural mechanics – preferably with John Deere equipment and experience in Service Advisor/Operation Centre Computer literate Valid driver’s license Valid Passport RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Service and maintenance of all equipment/movable assets of the farm Oversee mechanics/welders/fitters/turners on a daily basis Ordering of spares and consumables for workshop Training of mechanics/welders/fitters and combine/tractor operators Monitoring of fuel usage on daily basis Setup of precision farming equipment/applications/yield mapping ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
