Quality Controller Qualification Matric Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment. Quality control in an electrical manufacturing or engineering environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manufacturing specifications, and work orders. Proficiency in using common measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters). Implementation of ISO 9001 insofar as it relates to quality control. Duties Conducting thorough inspections on manufactured goods including but not limited to: Visual Dimensional Basic electrical testing (continuity, polarity, cold resistance, insulation resistance etc.) PMI x-rays Verifying products against manufacturing specifications and customer orders. Assessing the general quality of products, including appearance, workmanship, and finishing. Identify, isolate and document out-of-specification products (NCRs). Work collaboratively with production teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Completing and filing of the respective quality control documents and job cards. Development and implementation of Quality Control Plans for selected projects in consultation with the Application Engineers and SHEQ Manager. Assisting with implementation of ISO 9001 insofar as it relates to quality control. Conducting occasional site inspections at customer facilities to confirm compliance with specifications and/ or Quality Control Plans etc.
