An exciting opportunity is available for an HMR Specialist to drive sales growth within the HMR category, while maintaining and growing market share across existing and new customers. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 A Degree or qualification in Food Technology or a related field would be advantageous Minimum 3 years’ sales experience, preferably within the FMCG industry Basic cooking ability, with the confidence to conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations Strong communication and formal presentation skills Valid driver’s licence Willingness and flexibility to travel Key Skills & Competencies Achievement and results driven Strong planning and organisational skills Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Emotional intelligence and integrity Flexible and resilient Accountable and innovative thinker Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct sales calls using a value-added approach Build and grow market share across relevant product categories Drive and achieve sales volumes and budget targets Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients and customers Research and develop product and industry knowledge Support and implement promotional activities in line with required guidelines Develop strong client relationships and ensure effective customer service Monitor competitor activity and market trends and provide relevant market intelligence Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential markets Prepare and submit weekly sales and required reports within deadlines Manage sales administration and other related duties Assist with deliveries where required and in accordance with company standards Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability Ensure vehicle tracking and related requirements are maintained in line with company standards Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a confident, energetic and commercially driven sales professional with FMCG experience, strong customer relationship skills and the ability to combine sales expertise with basic culinary knowledge.
