Our client in the logistics and supply chain arean is urgently searching for a Transport Manager - from a multi-temperature/cold storage environment. If you are an experienced Transport Manager with a strong background in distribution, FMCG, warehousing or QSR and are ready to take ownership of a large-scale transport operation, we would like to hear from you. Minimum Requirements 5–7 years' management experience within transport, warehousing, distribution, QSR or FMCG. Proven experience in: Shift management People management Disciplinary enquiries Health & Safety management Contingency planning Continuous improvement and best-practice implementation Multi-temperature transport operations Complex, multi-site and multi-disciplinary environments Experience managing large operations and multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in an organisation with 400+ employees will be advantageous. Grade 12 with Higher Grade Mathematics. Tertiary qualification in Transport or a related field is mandatory. Honours qualification would be advantageous. Strong computer literacy is required, including: MS Office – particularly Advanced Exce PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and MS Project Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience Accounting software experience Experience with Microsoft Great Plains will be advantageous.
