Bilnor Staffing Solutions' client in the Mining sector is looking for a Senior Opencast Mine Surveyor to join their team for a permanent position in Swartklip, Limpopo. South African citizens and those living in the area will have preference. Key Responsibilities Conduct topographic, volumetric, and control surveys. Establish and verify control networks. Generate plans, cross-sections, and 3D models. Report excavation and stockpile volumes. Monitor pit progression and design compliance. Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and planners. Maintain and Onsite calibrate instruments. Manage survey records and digital data. Ensure compliance with mine standards and regulations. Mentor junior surveyors and provide technical support. Minimum Requirements COM Survey Certificate or National Diploma in Mine Surveying. Computer literate. Clean criminal record. Code 8 Driver’s License. Experience 3–5 years in surface/opencast mining. Volumetric and compliance surveys experience. GPS, Total Stations, and Laser Scanner experience. Technical Skills Model Maker, TBC, Deswik, or similar. GIS & geospatial data knowledge. Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions and remote locations. Integrity and adaptability. Safety First Comply with Mine Health & Safety Act. Promote safe work practices.
