A diversified investment group based in Northcliff is looking for an Accountant to join its small and closely connected office team. The group operates across several industries, including mining, retail, game farms and property development, with approximately 40 entities in the portfolio. This is a good opportunity for a recently qualified accounting professional who wants broad commercial exposure after completing articles. The role will be practical and hands-on, with direct involvement in the accounting requirements of several businesses. Main Responsibilities (The points below are a summary, a more detailed job specification can be provided after shortlisting) Treasury & Banking Payroll & Staff Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Asset Management Foundation Management Month-End & Financial Reporting Documentation & Working Papers Budgeting Compliance & Tax Founding Family Support Special Projects Requirements Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles . Graduate-level candidate with solid practical accounting exposure gained during articles. Good understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and general accounting. Experience with multiple entities will be advantageous. Comfortable working in a small, hands-on and entrepreneurial office environment. Education Relevant BCom Accounting, Finance or similar degree . Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles. Soft Skills Hands-on and willing to help where needed. Accurate and detail focused. Reliable and committed. Comfortable in a close-knit team. Organised and able to manage several priorities. Eager to learn and take on broader commercial responsibility. Salary The salary will be market related based on qualifications, skills, and experience. The proposed salary range is R30k - R40k per month.
