A well-established diversified investment group based in Northcliff is looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to join a small, close-knit office team. The group has interests across areas such as mining, retail, game farms and property development, with approximately 40 entities under management. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is comfortable working closely with an entrepreneurial business owner. It is not a large corporate environment — the successful person will need to be practical, involved and willing to get into the detail when required. Main Responsibilities (The points below are a summary, a more detailed job specification can be provided after shortlisting) Treasury & Banking Payroll & Staff Accounts Receivable & Property Management Property Development Management Insurance & Asset Management Foundation Management Financial Reporting Budgeting & Forecasting Compliance & Tax Company Secretarial, Shareholders & Governance Internal Controls Founding Family Support Requirements Minimum 3 - 5 years' post-articles experience . Previous experience in a Financial Manager role is preferred. Completed SAICA articles Experience working across multiple entities or diverse businesses will be advantageous. Strong accounting, reporting and financial management skills. Afrikaans and English communication skills Comfortable working in a small-office, entrepreneurial environment. Education Minimum BCom Finance, Accounting or related financial degree . Honours / Post-Grad preferred. Soft Skills Hands-on and willing to take ownership. Reliable, committed and accountable. Comfortable working in a tight-knit team. Practical, organised and detail focused. Able to adapt quickly across different businesses and priorities. Mature and confident when dealing directly with senior stakeholders. Salary The proposed salary range is R40k - R60k per month, but may be marginally negotiable for a better qualified candidate. Any offers will be market related based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
