We are looking for a Data Scientist II to build, optimize, and productionalize next-generation AI agents and quantitative models at scale. In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI development and business strategy. You will design, build, and deploy advanced mathematical models, AI applications, and agents that directly enhance customer experiences and drive strategic decision-making. The Tech Stack Deep-Dive Core AI & Analytics Advanced Statistical & Econometric Modeling Quantitative Analysis & Algorithm Development AI Agents & Solution Architecture Data Engineering & Infrastructure Data Preparation & Sourcing (20-30% of pipeline workload) Productionalization via approved FirstRand Architecture Model Audit & Governance Frameworks Requirements Breakdown Must-Haves: Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end AI/ML models, deep knowledge of quantitative methods, strong data manipulation skills, and proven experience translating complex business needs into mathematical solutions. Nice-to-Haves: Subject matter expertise in financial/banking operations, model library development, and experience mentoring junior Quantitative Analysts. Key Responsibilities (Keep it brief) Build & Deploy: Design, test, and productionalize AI solutions, models, agents, and custom algorithms to optimize cost, risk, and revenue opportunities. Model Ownership & Governance: Conduct regular model audits, test output accuracy, and ensure strict compliance with privacy, statutory, and internal governance frameworks.
