An Engineering/Fabricating Concern in Rustenburg is seeking a Planner/Scheduler . Minimum Qualification: - Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Production Management or related field - Planning/Scheduling qualification will be an added advantage Minimum Experience: - 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling - Experience in steel fabrication, construction or mining will be advantageous Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain and monitor project/workshop schedules - Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering, projects and other departments - Monitor progress against planned schedules and identify delays or potential risks - Track manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required to meet deadlines - Update schedules and provide accurate progress reports to management - Identify schedule deviations and assist with recovery plans - Monitor project milestones, deliverables and critical deadlines - Attend planning and progress meetings - Maintain accurate planning records and documentation - Liaise with supervisors, project managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure activities remain on schedule Skills & Competencies: - Strong planning and organisational skills - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to analyse information and identify potential delays - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines - Strong communication and coordination skills - Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - MS Projects - Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
