Group Financial Manager | CA(SA) | Johannesburg South Up tp R1.5 Million CTC per annum Are you a technically strong CA(SA) who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and enjoys the challenge of high-level group reporting and consolidations? This is a senior finance opportunity within a leading organisation operating across the industrial, mining and engineering sectors . You will take ownership of financial reporting across a sophisticated group structure comprising approximately 20–30 entities , with exposure to operations across multiple international jurisdictions. The role offers significant interaction with senior stakeholders and is ideally suited to a finance leader who combines technical accounting depth, strong leadership capability and exceptional consolidation expertise . Key Responsibilities Take ownership of group financial reporting and complex consolidations across approximately 20–30 entities. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting. Lead complex consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of group balances. Oversee statutory reporting and preparation of annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements . Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes across multiple entities. Review management accounts, financial results and key performance indicators. Coordinate and manage the annual external audit process. Engage with finance and senior business stakeholders across multiple international countries . Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, systems and internal controls. Provide technical accounting guidance across the group. Lead, mentor and develop the finance team. Job Experience and Skills Required CA(SA) – essential and non-negotiable. Minimum 5–7 years' management experience within a complex group or multi-entity environment. Demonstrable experience with complex group consolidations and high-volume entity reporting . Strong statutory and financial reporting experience. Advanced technical knowledge of IFRS . Exposure to approximately 20–30 entities or similarly complex group structures would be highly advantageous. Experience within engineering, mining, manufacturing or a similarly complex operational environment . International or multi-jurisdictional stakeholder exposure advantageous. Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills. Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
