This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys designing cloud infrastructure, building automation frameworks, and optimising platform performance across complex environments. You will be responsible for driving DevOps and DevSecOps best practices, managing cloud infrastructure, supporting containerised workloads, and enhancing platform reliability. Working closely with development and infrastructure teams, you will help accelerate software delivery while ensuring security, scalability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles. Build and support automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery. Manage and optimise containerised workloads across cloud and hybrid environments. Administer and support Azure-based data platforms and related services. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve visibility and performance. Deploy, manage, and optimise serverless workloads and automation solutions. Apply security best practices across cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications. Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous platform improvements. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability. Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and engineering best practices. Job Experience and Skills Required BSc Computer Science, Information Technology Diploma, or a related qualification. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering. Proven experience managing enterprise Microsoft Azure environments. Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions. Experience supporting production environments and mission-critical applications. Exposure to Agile development practices and DevOps methodologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Leadership and mentoring capabilities. Strong attention to detail and documentation standards. Strategic thinking with the ability to remain hands-on technically. Continuous improvement mindset. Ability to perform effectively within fast-paced Agile environments. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
