Bilnor Staffing Solutions' client in the mining sector is looking for two qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their team in Witbank, MP. South African Citizens and those living in the area will have preference. Minimum Job Requirements Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent. Recognised Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Mechanic trade qualification (Red Seal). Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining or heavy earthmoving environment. Proven hands-on experience working on: CAT Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs) CAT Dozers Hitachi Excavators Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, drivetrains and electrical systems . Experience with fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy earthmoving equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics and electrical diagrams . Experience conducting planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and inspections . Knowledge of mining equipment safety standards and safe maintenance practices . Valid driver’s licence . Ability to work shifts, overtime and in a demanding mining environment. Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Advantageous: Experience with CAT diagnostic systems (e.g. CAT ET ) and Hitachi diagnostic equipment.
