Financial Manager | Lead, Mentor & Deliver Up to 1.1 M CTC Per Annum Are you an experienced Financial Manager who knows how to take ownership, lead from the front and keep a finance function performing at its best? A well-established organisation is looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function while leading and developing a team of 7 finance professionals . This is not a first-time Financial Manager opportunity. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years’ proven Financial Management experience who combines strong technical accounting capability with operational finance, debtors and working-capital management, and confident people leadership. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of the end-to-end finance function Lead, mentor and develop a team of 7 finance professionals Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting Drive debtors management, collections and working-capital optimisation Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity across the business Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, statutory and audit requirements Drive improvements across finance systems, controls and processes Partner with senior stakeholders and operations to support business performance Maintain accurate and efficient financial processes within Sage 300 Job Experience & Skills Required CA(SA), AGA(SA) or ACCA Minimum 5 years’ proven Financial Management experience Proven experience managing the full finance function Strong track record of leading and developing a finance team Strong debtors, cash-flow and working-capital management experience Strong management accounts, financial reporting and reconciliation experience Budgeting, forecasting and variance-analysis experience Sage 300 experience Advanced Excel Strong financial controls and compliance knowledge The Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on Financial Manager , not someone who manages finance purely from a strategic level. You understand the detail, can identify where numbers don't make sense and are comfortable getting involved when required. You are also a strong people leader who can create accountability, mentor your team and ensure that deadlines and reporting standards are consistently met. Experience within a medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale or distribution environment would be highly advantageous. Ready for your next move?
