DBN000340 – Chief Information Officer - Durban Based Purpose of the job: To Lead the design and execution of the enterprise-wide digital transformation strategy, leveraging modern technologies to secure a sustainable competitive advantage. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Software Engineering – preferred but not essential 15+ years of executive-level experience directing global IT operations and technology strategies. Proven track record of architecting and executing enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Extensive expertise in delivering large-scale enterprise system implementations, including robust ERP solutions. [ Strategic leadership in deploying Cloud computing solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Business Intelligence (BI). Strong command over cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Deep proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, and executive-level reporting to drive decision-making. Exceptional capability in managing executive stakeholders, aligning technology with corporate vision, and leading cross-functional teams. Technical Competencies & Experience: Strategic Leadership & Digital Transformation Execute the enterprise digitisation strategy to achieve 2027 strategic objectives. Formulate and deploy the comprehensive Enterprise AI Strategy. Identify and deliver immediate, high-impact AI opportunities. Establish and track KPIs to measure progress against strategic goals. Spearhead the transition toward a fully paperless organization. Transform management reporting into automated, real-time decision-support systems. Streamline financial reporting by eliminating repetitive manual processes. Architect data systems to optimize enterprise information management. Develop and execute the corporate B2B Digital Commerce Strategy.
