Cabinet Making & Installation Foreman Area: Bloemfontein, Free State Salary: R12 000 Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Cabinet Making & Installation Foreman to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the manufacturing , finishing and installation of kitchen and bedroom cupboards, combined with proven foreman or supervisory experience. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, excellent finishing standards and the ability to oversee a team while ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard, on time and according to specifications. Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in cabinet making and installation Proven experience in the installation of cupboards Previous foreman, supervisor or team leader experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans Experience in preparing accurate cutting lists Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, fittings and installation methods Strong attention to detail, accuracy and neatness Good knowledge of measurements and the ability to work accurately to specifications Good planning, organizational and communication abilities Must be willing to travel to various project sites when required Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous Responsibilities: Oversee and supervise the installation of kitchen and bedroom cupboards Read and interpret building plans, technical drawings and cabinetry specifications Prepare and check cutting lists and material requirements Measure and assess installation areas to ensure accurate fitment Ensure all cabinetry is properly aligned, levelled, fitted and finished Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure high standards of finishing, detail and neatness Inspect completed work and identify any defects or required adjustments Manage tools, materials and equipment required for projects Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times Travel to different project sites as required Ensure a professional standard of workmanship and customer service is maintained If you do not receive feedback in 5 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful 078 619 0724
