Greys Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an experienced Regional HR Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across a multi-country Southern African portfolio. This is a senior HR leadership position suited to an accomplished HR professional with strong experience in employee relations, labour relations, HR operations, workforce planning and senior stakeholder management within a complex, multi-site environment Key Responsibilities Lead and implement the regional people strategy across South Africa and neighbouring countries. Provide strategic HR business partnering to senior leadership and management. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent management and retention. Lead employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations and labour disputes. Manage relationships with organised labour, unions, bargaining councils and external labour stakeholders. Provide guidance on labour legislation, compliance and HR governance. Oversee payroll, remuneration, benefits, leave and related HR reporting. Lead workforce planning, organisational design, restructuring and change initiatives. Drive training and development initiatives, including WSP/ATR and SETA-related requirements. Manage HR reporting, analytics, Employment Equity and compliance requirements. Lead and develop the HR team while managing the HR departmental budget. Partner with senior stakeholders to identify people-related risks and implement appropriate solutions. Travel to regional sites as required. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field. Extensive experience in a senior HR management or HR business partnering role. Strong South African labour and employee relations experience. Proven experience with CCMA, disciplinary processes, grievances and complex employee relations matters . Experience engaging with trade unions and organised labour. Strong knowledge of payroll, remuneration and benefits. Experience in a multi-site or regional environment. Exposure to HR operations across South Africa, Namibia and/or Mozambique will be highly advantageous. Experience in organisational design, restructuring and change management. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed and commercially driven environment. Experience with HRIS systems; Dayforce exposure would be advantageous. Willingness to travel to regional sites when required.
