DBN000354 - Warehouse Operator - Shakas Head Purpose of the Job: To safely and efficiently manage warehouse stock and operations. Required Qualifications: Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics, or manufacturing is advantageous. Must have a valid reach truck operator licence/certification relevant. Must remain medically fit and authorised to operate material-handling equipment where required. Technical Competencies & Experience: Receive, inspect, verify, label and safely store incoming stock in the correct warehouse locations. Pick and issue stock according to production, dispatch or transfer requirements, applying FIFO/FEFO. Conduct stock counts and stock takes, maintain accurate inventory records, and report and assist in resolving variances. Safely operate reach trucks and authorised material-handling equipment, including pre-use inspections and safe movement of stock. Protect stock from damage, contamination or loss, report non-conforming stock and comply with warehouse, health and safety, and audit requirements.
