My client, a well established concern based in Somerset West is looking a Financial Accountant to join their team . The ideal candidate will have a B.Comm Financial degree and a minimum of 2 – 3 years experience. Completed SAIPA articles will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, including intercompany, stock, debtors and creditors accounts. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and sales analysis. Manage inventory records, stock valuations and Bills of Materials. Calculate commissions and intercompany interest. Monitor budgets, expenses and operational costs, identifying opportunities for improved cost control. Analyse financial data, variances and Cost-Volume-Profit performance. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and management information. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Manage customer and account queries and assist with problem resolution. Research market costs and support budgeting and financial planning. Assist with audit preparation, reporting and related financial requirements. Provide accurate and timely financial information and support to management. Requirements: BComm financial degree Completed SAIPA articles advantageous Min 2 – 3 years experience
